Asher Perlman is an actor and writer based out of New York.

He was a staff writer on The Opposition with Jordan Klepper on Comedy Central. He can currently be seen performing at UCB and with The Improvised Shakespeare Company. He also hosts a monthly show, Terrific Pacific, at Pacific Standard in Brooklyn with Chelsea Davison (The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon). Additionally, he is a sketch writer/performer for Slate’s Trumpcast.

Stage credits include the TBS Just For Laughs Festival-Chicago (solo characters), The Second City e.t.c., The Second City Touring Company, iO Chicago, The Annoyance, and Comedysportz. He has also written shows for Chicago Sketchfest and The Public House Theater.

He has appeared in The Opposition with Jordan Klepper, Hot Date on Pop TV, and several national commercials. He is one of the creators and writers of the upcoming project Beta Males, directed by Matt Miller (Teachers on TV Land) and produced by Cap Gun Collective.

He has written for both The Onion Labs and Hog Butcher, and has had his work featured on The Second City Network and the daily Chicago newspaper, RedEye. Additionally, he created and starred in two official pilot selections at the 2015 New York Television Festival, the sketch show It’s Megan and Settled, which went on to be an original series on the women-centric comedy site, Pypo
